Capital Markets Staff Attorney
We are seeking Capital Markets Staff Attorneys for our New York and Charlotte offices. We are looking for someone with experience or interest in securitization, asset backed finance and/or real estate.
The Charlotte office of Cadwalader is seeking an associate for the Fund Finance practice. Qualified candidates will have 3-7 years of experience in syndicated lending, commercial lending, leverage finance, fund formation, CLOs or other relevant experience. Candidates must possess excellent academic credentials and solid law firm or in-house legal experience as well.
Fund Finance Staff Attorney
The Fund Finance Group represents financial institutions providing financing to private equity funds. As a staff attorney in the Fund Finance Group, your responsibilities will include reviewing and answering certain diligence questions with respect to a private equity fund's organizational documents, such as the limited partnership agreement and any letter agreements entered into between the private equity fund and an investor. With the guidance of senior members of the deal team, you would also be responsible for drafting documentation to memorialize the loan to the private equity fund and the security pledged in support of such loan. The position requires strong time management skills and the ability to simultaneously manage responsibilities on multiple engagements.
